In 1989, two mothers had a vision to create a learning environment in which students with educational gaps could feel supported and successful. From this vision, Center School was born. Thousands of students have experienced incredible educational growth as a result of our renowned, well-respected, and incredibly effective programming.
Center School is the only school in the tri-state area to offer over 500 hours of literacy per school year. Our curriculum is multi-faceted, supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of students diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. Center School’s effective programming has led to students achieving between one and one-half to two years of reading growth in one year. It is the only accredited Orton-Gillingham program in New Jersey. The school serves students ages 8-18 of average or higher intellectual potential and strives to empower students to bridge the gap between potential and performance. The Bridge Academy uses research-based, classroom-proven techniques taught by experienced professionals to help students thrive in school and achieve academic success.
