In 1989, two mothers had a vision to create a learning environment in which students with educational gaps could feel supported and successful. From this vision, Center School was born. Thousands of students have experienced incredible educational growth as a result of our renowned, well-respected, and incredibly effective programming.
Center School is the only school in the tri-state area to offer over 500 hours of literacy per school year. Our curriculum is multi-faceted, supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of students diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. Center School’s effective programming has led to students achieving between one and one-half to two years of reading growth in one year. Get to know Center School and its culture by visiting the 14-acre campus, meet with teachers and students and feel what it’s like to be a part of the community.
