In 1981, what began as a showcase for the local art scene, has evolved into a nationally recognized, award-winning event. Enjoy two-days, filled with hand-crafted art, jewelry, home goods, a variety of delectable food, music, and fun for the whole family! What is Shad? Each spring the Delaware River in Lambertville, NJ is home to returning Shad making their way back from the Atlantic Ocean to spawn before returning to the ocean. Local residents can be found fishing for Shad on Lewis Island, the only Shad fishery left on the Delaware River. 2026 Volunteer Open House, Tabby's Place: A Cat Sanctuary

1100 US 202, Ringoes. www.tabbysplace.org. All are welcome to come visit our sanctuary in Ringoes, NJ to learn more about the continuing mission of Tabby’s Place. Our dedicated volunteer team will tell you all about the work they do to care for our cats and how you can get involved, too. Follow the trail of paw prints through the building to see our cat suites, solariums, and other spaces. Our tour guides will introduce you to some of our feline residents and tell you more about each of the cats we get to call ours. Refreshments will also be available (for humans and cats).
