The Ye Olde Yardleyville Festival is a collaborative, community-centered event presented by Gather Place and Yardley Friends Meeting. It offers an immersive 19th-century historical experience in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, highlighting Yardley Borough’s evolution from Yardleyville (est. 1682) while fostering community unity.
Visitors will experience Yardley’s rich history through storytelling, reenactments, traditional food and music, and an optional guided walking tour along the Delaware Canal State Park (Lock #5).
A free shuttle will run continuously between locations (all walkable as well), and guests may join at any time.

1:30–3:00 PM – Gather Place: immersive 1800s experience with storytelling, food, and music

• Underground Railroad guided walking tour beginning at Gather Place, then along the Delaware Canal (Lock #5) – RSVP required
Purpose:
To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary; highlight 19th-century Bucks County life; honor Yardley’s diverse cultural roots; promote unity; and educate visitors about Quaker heritage, the Underground Railroad, and the historical significance of both the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church and Friends Meeting—through accessible, family-friendly programming.
