Relay for Life of Bucks County

Saturday, May 16, 10 am to 10 pm, join Relay for Life of Bucks County at the Bristol Township Amphitheater, 2501 Bath Rd. in Bristol. This is a community event to fight cancer and to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. It’s a chance to come together in your local community to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against every cancer as we come together for every life.

Join us every Saturday with live music on South Hamilton Street from 8am to 1pm though November 21st (except September 12th for ArtsFest) with monthly events and kid's crafts. We are also a dog friendly market! Well behaved leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners' shop through the market. We have many products for our furry friends on a weekly basis. Honey Hollow Book Fair

Honey Hollow will host ten regional booksellers for its inaugural Used and Rare Book Fair. Expect to find many collectible items, including signed titles, first editions, oddities and obscurities alongside a fine crop of good-condition reading copies. Participating booksellers include Apport Used Books; Beckett Hansen, Bookseller; Edgewood Books; Fairly Honorable; La Foi Book; Lot 49 Books; Macaulay’s Books; Other Islands Books; Panoply Books; and Second Time Books.

Program highlights include: *11 AM— Lake Angela, former Poet Laureate of Bucks County, will serve as the featured reader, followed by poets Tricia Coscia, Steve Nolan, Robbin Farr, and Kevin Richard Kaiser. *1 PM—James Mustich, Jr., author of 1000 Books to Read Before You Die, will moderate a “Battle of the Books” panel where five book lovers, including librarians from The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury and The Bucks County Free Library, will make the case for titles they think Jim should have included but didn’t. *3 PM—Hayden Saunier, past Poet Laureate of Bucks County will be featured reader followed by Jane E. Mohler, Kevin Martin Taylor and two other local poets.

Upper Bucks 250 Heritage Day at Tinicum Park

Come out on Saturday May 16, 2026 from 10 to 5 pm for the Upper Bucks 250 Heritage Day at Tinicum Park in partnership with all the Upper Bucks County communities to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our War for Independence. It will be a free family fun filled day with the Palisades School District who will be showcasing the art, performances and displays of their students, as well as over a dozen heritage organizations museums and societies represented. The event will feature performances by area musicians, military reenactors, traditional craftspeople, as well as historical exhibits. They are excited to welcome to the event the Friends of Washington Crossing who will be bringing a true size replica of a Durham Boat and the Mercer Museum who will be showcasing Upper Bucks artifacts and Documents

Newtown Wine Walk - Benefit for Newtown Theatre

Tickets are now on sale for the 2nd Annual Newtown Wine Walk on Saturday, May 16 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. This festive event is sponsored by Attleboro Wealth Management and all proceeds benefit the historic Newtown Theatre.

During this event, which is modeled after the popular Newtown Holiday Cocktail Trail, ticket holders will enjoy sampling different wines at a wide variety of Newtown Borough shops. The Walk will begin at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State Street, where ticketholders will pick up their Walk “passport,” a goodie bag, and some free popcorn. The passport will list each stop on the Walk and any promotions the shops are offering that day. Passports will also highlight Borough restaurants, which participants are encouraged to patronize while traversing the Walk.

A limited number of tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com. All participants must be 21+ to purchase tickets and participate in the Wine Walk.


Gardening Demo, Newtown Borough

Come for a practical demonstration by an expert Master Gardener. Learn how to choose native plants, soil, and containers, and care for them easily. This workshop is sponsored by the Newtown Borough Environmental Advisory Council (EAC). Attendees will receive information about Pennsylvania native plants and where to buy them, plus take home starter plants. Space is limited to 25. Registration details will be posted on the Newtown Borough website at www.boroughofnewtown.com/. The fee is $20

Kids Makerspace @Morgan Log House

Join Morgan Log House this year for a new Makerspace experience! Their Kids’ Makerspace is a hands-on zone and free family event where children can enjoy an engaging storytime and then complete a make-and-take project. From building simple machines to trying out recycled art projects, it’s the perfect place for young minds to tinker, invent, and play. This month, children will make leprechaun traps using normal household items as part of a special St. Patrick’s Day edition. As part of the Kiwanis Club’s Read Across Pennsylvania program, Morgan Log House asks all families to bring a children’s books to donate.
