The Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania proudly presents the first-ever statewide garden tour on Saturday, June 20 and Saturday, June 26, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. View over ninety beautiful, private landscapes and unique public gardens, spanning twelve counites across the Keystone State. This a rain or shine event. Fifteen clubs from the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania have organized lovely gardens that will be in bloom from west of Pittsburgh to Clarion in the north, through Lancaster and all the way to east of Valley Forge.

This unique and educational self-guided tour, presented by the Bucks County Branch of the Woman's National Farm & Garden Association in partnership with Bowman Hill's Wildflower Preserve, features five Doylestown area residential gardens in transition to the use of native plantings and creative water management. Knowledgeable gardeners will be present at each property, and a selection of native plants will be available for sale at one of the gardens. Friends of the Tour are Bucks Beautiful, Bird Town Pennsylvania, the Doylestown and Lahaska Bookshops, and the Penn State Extension Master Gardener and Master Watershed Steward programs.

Demonstration Garden Open Day Series, Penn State Master Gardeners of Bucks County

Penn State Extension invites community members of all ages to explore the beauty and educational value of local demonstration gardens during the first-ever Demonstration Garden Open Days. The series kicks off Saturday, June 20 at the James-Lorah Memorial Home In Doylestown. This free, family-friendly series takes place on three dates throughout the summer and early fall at demonstration gardens across Bucks County. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour vibrant gardens designed, planted, and maintained by Master Gardener volunteers while learning practical, research-based gardening techniques focused on sustainability, pollinator support, native plants, and home food production. Each event will offer opportunities to connect directly with Master Gardeners and explore a variety of garden styles and educational themes.
