Annual Mill Hill Garden Tour with a historic twist! Enjoy beautiful private gardens & jump on a trolley to visit Trenton historic sites. Step behind the historic facades of Trenton and discover the hidden gardens of Mill Hill! Every year, Mill Hill residents open their gates to share the private green sanctuaries tucked behind one of the city’s most beautiful historic neighborhoods. This year’s garden tour is especially meaningful as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday in the very city where the tide of the Revolution turned. Just steps from the site of the Battle of Trenton, more than 20 private gardens and public spaces—from intimate courtyards to lush backyard retreats—will welcome visitors for a rare behind-the-scenes look at the neighborhood. Whether you’re a garden lover, history enthusiast, architecture buff, or simply looking for a charming day out, the Mill Hill Garden Tour offers a unique chance to explore the creativity and beauty hidden behind Trenton’s historic streets. Monet Mingle, AOY Art Center

AOY Art Center invites the community to experience a truly distinctive summer event with Monet Mingle, an upscale outdoor cocktail party celebrating the beauty and spontaneity of plein air painting. Inspired by Claude Monet and the Impressionists, Monet Mingle blends art, atmosphere, and community into a relaxed yet refined garden setting. Guests will enjoy signature cocktails, live music featuring harp and classical guitar, and fine bites prepared on site by Chef Joe Garvey, creating an immersive and sensory-rich evening. At the heart of the event, three accomplished regional artists—Joseph Gyurscak, Jessica Barnum, and Christopher Monteiro—will create original plein air paintings live throughout the evening. Guests will have the rare opportunity to watch each work unfold in real time, culminating in a dramatic live reveal and auction of the finished paintings at sunset.
