Princeton Day School Summer Programs offers seven weeks of academic, athletic and enrichment programming on the school's 106-acre campus. Built-in scheduling flexibility allows parents to create half-day or full-day options that will be memorable experiences for campers. Camp facilities utilize our entire campus, including our STEAM Centers and classrooms, state-of-the-art athletic facilities, organic garden and one-of-a-kind ropes course. For nearly two decades, School of Rock Newtown has been inspiring kids to rock on stage and in life. We believe the best way to LEARN music is to PLAY music. We take students from the lesson room to the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for ALL skill levels. School of Rock Newtown teaches guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, drums and combines weekly private music lessons with group band rehearsals to prepare students to take the stage in front of live audiences in authentic concert settings. Our one-week themed summer camp sessions are Monday-Friday from 9:30am to 3pm with a LIVE performance for family and friends at the School on the Friday of each session. Snipes Farm Day Camp for children ages 6-12 and the Camp Leadership Program (CLP) for youth ages 13-15 are programs that connect kids to nature and a 7- generation working farm. Care of animals and a garden, harvesting fresh ingredients and cooking, art, archery, environmental education and games fill the days. Campers have adventures on 80 acres of the farm: its woods, creeks, a meadow and bird blind and an array of beautiful gardens.
