Stained Glass Butterfly Workshop with Barbara Schultz @Tyler Park Center for the Arts

Come learn how to make a beautiful stained-glass butterfly suncatcher using the copper foil (Tiffany Style) technique. You will learn to cut, grind, foil and solder the glass. Cleaning and sanding of student pieces will be done in class. Students will leave this one day workshop with a completed project in hand.

Hosted by Mickey and Minnie, invite your family and friends to sing along to your favorite songs and celebrate the power of love and courage at Disney On Ice presents Frozen & Encanto – the show everyone will be talking about!

“An Afternoon with Martha Washington”, Washington Crossing Historic Park

Alisa Dupuy has been portraying Martha Dandridge Custis Washington as she was during the American Revolution since 2009 and has performed for hundreds of audiences nationwide. Her engaging solo performance explores Martha’s early life, her first marriage and children, her meeting and marriage to George Washington, and the trials and triumphs they endured during the Revolutionary War. Audiences gain insight into what it was like to be part of the nation’s first “First Couple,” as well as reflections on their lives together.

This event is pay-what-you-wish. Similar living-history and museum programs typically carry a $10 per person admission, and guests are invited to contribute at a level that feels meaningful to them in support of the park’s 250th anniversary programming.

College Admissions for Homeschool and Non-Traditional Applicants, The Learning Cooperatives

The Learning Cooperatives (Princeton, Bucks, Raritan) are hosting a panel of professionals who will help to demystify the process of college admissions for homeschoolers. Our panel includes an admissions officer from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) who knows what colleges look for from homeschoolers and a staff member from Raritan Learning Cooperative who is experienced in preparing homeschooling transcripts and college applications. Bring your questions and concerns!
