250 Anniversary Guided Walking Tour of New Hope June 6, 2026 - October 17, 2026 Celebrate New Hope’s 250 years of history with a guided walking tour that brings the town’s past to life. This special anniversary experience is divided into five themed segments, each highlighting a 50‑year chapter of the community’s evolution—from its Revolutionary roots to its vibrant modern identity. USA250 Storytime Events at The Doylestown Bookshop

Hellerick’s Adventure Farm Announces Barnyard Mini Golf Championship Tournament
Hellerick’s Adventure Farm announces its first ever Barnyard Mini Golf Championship Tournament. Kicking off on Saturday, June 27, this summer-long competition will offer four monthly matches, and its winners will compete in the championship in October. Monthly winners receive $100 cash plus free mini-golf for a family of four for the rest of the 2026 season. The championship winner will receive $250 cash plus free mini-golf for the 2027 season! 7/3 - America Celebrates 250th Celebration Kickoff, 1-9:30pm
On Friday, July 3rd, experience 10 different performances and educational events on platform stages from both sides of the Delaware River. Actors portraying patriots from the Revolution will be discussing their role in the country's founding in addition to music and dance performances throughout the day. The evening ends with a spectacular fireworks display from two launch boats that will be complemented with 200 drones over the river with synced music through stadium speakers. 7/3 - 1776 Movie Screening at the Winery, Unionville Vineyards, 6:30pm. Kick off your Independence Day weekend by remembering where it all began. Join us on July 3rd for a special screening of 1776, the beloved musical that brings the founding of America to life. Doors open at 6:30PM and the movie begins at 7:00PM in our Barrel Building. 7/4 - 44th Annual Revolutionary Run (RevRun), 8am.
Welcome to the 44th Annual Revolutionary Run (RevRun), a beloved Independence Day tradition held in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania. Taking place on Saturday, July 4, the Revolutionary Run is a rain or shine community race that brings together runners, families, and spectators from across the region. The RevRun is more than a race - it is a celebration of history, fitness, and community spirit in one of America’s most iconic locations. Participants experience a scenic and historic course near Washington Crossing Historic Park, making this one of the most unique July 4th road races in Pennsylvania. By joining the RevRun, you are directly supporting the local community. 7/4 - Independence Day Celebration @Washington Crossing Historic Park, 4-9:30pm.
Join us at Washington Crossing Historic Park for an evening of history, community celebration, live music, and fireworks over the Delaware River as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding! Please note: Admission is required; registration is recommended only for the 4–8 PM Living History Program. The evening concert and fireworks are free and open to the public; no registration is required to attend those portions of the event. Step into Revolutionary America as you explore a military encampment, watch living historians demonstrate traditional crafts, participate in children’s activities and experience musket and artillery firing demonstrations. Readings of the Declaration of Independence will take place throughout the evening. As the living history program concludes, visitors are invited to enjoy live music along the waterfront, including a special fife and drum performance. The celebration will conclude with a festive fireworks display over the Delaware River (weather permitting). Food trucks will be on site throughout the evening, offering food, snacks, and refreshments. The Friends of Washington Crossing Park will operate a concession stand serving hot dogs, chips, and beverages. All proceeds support educational programming at the park.

7/5 - America Celebrates 250th Parade, 10-12pm.
Well, it sadly has to end. But not without us kicking and screaming. We'll celebrate right to the finish. Today we will begin with the "Freedom Parade" starting in New Hope and ending in Lambertville. We will end at 12 noon with simultaneous bell ringing from both sides of the river. In between, there will be a Dragon Boat race on the river with actors portraying patriots in the boats. Color guard ceremonies, dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence along with singers from Playhouse and Music Mountain will be singing "God Bless America" from both sides of the river utilizing stadium quality speakers.

7/5 - The Healing Garden Workshop at Cherry Grove Farm, 11am.
Join Tish for a wander around Cherry Grove gardens to learn which familiar garden plants, (that you may have growing in your garden, or can easily plant) can be used for first aid and to heal common ailments. Sage, rosemary, thyme, yarrow, basil, roses, zinnias and more all have a multitude of medicinal uses. You can ease headaches, tummy aches, brain fog, sleep disturbances, depression, coughs, colds, flus and more with common herbs, flowers and weeds. After discussing the healing properties of the plants each participant will make their own individualised tincture with the plants they are drawn to, or the plants they need for a particular issue. You will take home your tincture to be strained and used in a few weeks.

7/8 - Music Off Main, Buttonwood Park, 6-8pm. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Buttonwood Park, free live outdoor music concerts offer a diverse array of performances that cater to all tastes and ages. Groove Merchants return to Yardley after blowing the roof off the Buttonwood shelter when they opened our 2024 season. Fueled with howling vocals from frontman, Tye Vallone, the band twists in elements of blues, funk, soul and rock resulting in a revival of authentic performance. Regulars at Bethlehem’s Musikfest, as well as performing in many of Philly’s iconic music venues, once The Groove Merchants show up, expect relentless, soulful energy and a belief in connecting beyond music.

Movie: Room - Held captive for years in an enclosed space, a woman and her young son finally gain their freedom, allowing the boy to experience the outside world for the first time. Page to Screen Series Our monthly Page to Screen series is a partnership between the Newtown Theatre and the Newtown Bookshop. Each film in the series is based on a bestselling or beloved book. After a brief demonstration to review basic strokes and techniques for paddling a recreational kayak, their outdoor experts will take you on a fascinating and leisurely paddle for an up-close look at birds, plants and wildlife. Know your farmer, know your food! Join Bucks County Foodshed Alliance for their summer farm tour series! Meet at the farm for a potluck followed by a farmer-led tour. Plowshare Farms has been growing organic, chemical-free produce and raising grass-fed lamb in Bucks County, PA since 2014. Through sustainable farming practices farmers Teddy and Faith have enriched the farm's once-depleted soil, reclaiming old hay fields to produce delicious and fulfilling food. “Totally Unscripted! A Family-Friendly Improv Show” is a fast-paced, no-safety-net, tight-rope walk of a show that has no script and is completely made up on the spot. Every element of the show is inspired by suggestions from the audience. The result is a gloriously screen-free experience for the entire family that is filled with silliness and infectious laughter. Led by Bucks County based Unscripted Productions, the show will consist of a variety of games, scenes and scenarios that will get volunteers up on stage – kids and adults alike. Grounds For Sculpture and Third Way Cultural Alliance present an evening of live music and intimate conversation, featuring the legendary Marshall Allen from Sun Ra Arkestra, avant-garde bassist Jamaaladeen Tacuma, and artist Salvador Jiménez-Flores. Allen and Tacuma will play new music within Jiménez-Flores’ exhibition Raíces & Resistencias, and all three artists will take part in a discussion on the importance of creative freedom.

7/25 - The Sourland Mountain Fest, 3-8:30pm. The Sourland Mountain Fest, presented by Unionville Vineyards, will take place on July 25th from 3:00–8:30PM at Unionville Vineyards, located at 9 Rocktown Rd, Ringoes, New Jersey. For 40 years the Sourland Conservancy has steadfastly protected and preserved the Sourland region, the largest contiguous forest in Central New Jersey, and proceeds of the Sourland Mountain Festival will support the Conservancy’s mission. In addition to live music all day, the festival will have exceptional brews from Hillsborough’s Flounders Brewing, delicious eats and non-alcoholic refreshments from Cas Pierogi, Cassidy's Kitchen and the Crafty Caffe, a passport activity for kids, environmental exhibitors, and native plants for sale from My Backyard at Nectars.
