American Repertory Ballet presents the dynamic and breathtaking world premiere of Ethan Stiefel’s SPIRIT OF THE HIGHLANDS from March 7 - 9 at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. Based on the romantic classic La Sylphide, SPIRIT OF THE HIGHLANDS re-imagines the tale of a young Scotsman who becomes entranced by a magical forest spirit known as The Sylph, and through his pursuits, eventually loses everything he holds dear. Stiefel traces his mother's family roots back to the Scottish Highland Clan Munro, taking his heritage and infusing it into this lively and bewitching ballet.

Healthy Hikes - Wednesday, March 5, 12, 19, 26 · 6:00 - 7:00pm
Hiking is a great way to improve your physical and mental health! Join the park naturalist for a quickly paced 2 mile hike along the trails of WCHP. Please keep in mind that these hikes are intended to maintain a quick hiking pace. Prepare yourself for the day by bringing a full water bottle, wearing sturdy shoes, and dressing for the weather. Morven’s Annual Plant Sale March 5 - April 7
Our Plant Sale has become a sought after as an early spring resource for unusual and distinct varieties that thrive in New Jersey. All proceeds benefit our exhibitions and education programs. The online sale typically begins mid March and features curated selections from Morven’s expert horticulturalist staff of deer resistant plants, annuals, perennials, veggies, heirloom, and prolific container plants. Plant pick up will be in mid May offering the healthiest and happiest plants ready for planting just after fear of frost. www.morven.org/

Call for Entries to AOY Art Center's 13th Annual Juried Show
The AOY Art Center invites artists from throughout the tri-state area to participate in the 13th Annual Juried Show, a prestigious event showcasing the region’s diverse artistic talent. Entries are now being accepted, and artists are encouraged to submit their best work for consideration.
Artists interested in participating can find detailed information—including the full prospectus—at aoyarts.org. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, March 15, and the exhibition is scheduled to take place from April 11 to May 4. Each artist may submit up to three pieces, with an entry fee of $40 for members and $55 for non-members.
Cash prizes will be awarded to outstanding entries, and the AOY Art Center is pleased to announce the sponsorship of Honorable Mention awards by Jerry's Artarama of Lawrenceville.

Tickets Now on Sale for Inaugural Newtown Wine Walk
Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural Newtown Wine Walk on Saturday, May 17 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. This festive event is sponsored by Attleboro Wealth Management and all proceeds benefit the historic Newtown Theatre. During this event, which is modeled after the successful Newtown Holiday Cocktail Trail, ticket holders will enjoy sampling at least 20 different wines at a wide variety of Newtown Borough shops.
The Walk will begin at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State Street, where ticketholders will pick up their Walk “passport,” a goodie bag, and some free popcorn. The passport will list each stop on the Walk and any promotions the shops are offering that day. Passports will also highlight Borough restaurants, which participants are encouraged to patronize while traversing the Walk. A limited number of tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $50 per person. All participants must be 21+ to purchase tickets and participate in the Wine Walk.

2nd Annual Mill Members Art Show & Sale
Members of the Phillips' Mill Community Association will once again be in the spotlight at the 2nd Annual Mill Members Art Show & Sale. The exhibition will be open for two consecutive weekends, March 8 and 9, and March 15 and 16 from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free but donations are appreciated. The show will feature more than 500 works of art by over 170 artists, all members of Phillips' Mill Community Association.
An array of fine art and crafts will be represented in the non-juried show including paintings and sculpture, jewelry and textiles, mixed media, ceramics, photography and works on paper. Works by artists well-known in the community including Robert Beck, Janine Dunn Wade, Dot Bunn, Helena van Emmerik-Finn and Richard Lennox will fill both levels of the building with a portion of each sale going to the upkeep of the historic 18th-century former grist mill. An "Open House" will kick off the event at the historic Mill on March 8 at noon.

Free Grundy House Tours Begin in April
Visit the Grundy Museum for a FREE docent led tour of one of Bristol Borough's most exquisite homes. Your one hour Museum tour begins in the adjacent GRUNDY LIBRARY - THE GRUNDY WOOLEN MILL EXHIBIT ROOM. Orientation film starts promptly at 1:15 pm and 2:30pm. Following the orientation film, guests will then take a walk along the Riverfront Park and up a short ramp to the Museum enjoying the vistas and terraced gardens. If you are unable to walk along the river, your docent will meet you on the front porch of the Museum after they arrive with the group. In the event of inclement weather, the tour will walk directly to the Museum and not along the Riverfront Park.

The vision and energy of one immigrant, who guaranteed that his family name would persist over the centuries. The convoluted story will be told, and on display will be three of the original 17th century purchase documents that were contributed to the Yardley Historical Association by a Yardley family descendent. 3/23 - La Fiocco Presents "Handel's London", 3pm., Trinity Church Solebury. La Fiocco, the Bucks County baroque ensemble, continues its 2024-2025 season with Handel’s London. With its thriving music scene, 18th-century London was a haven for native and foreign-born musicians. Handel, however, was the undisputed genius, respected by friend and foe alike. Montco's Blue Bell Campus features a state-of-the-art observatory, including a 16-inch Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope and observation deck with additional telescopes. We also hold astronomy classes on-site in SMART classrooms. Co-sponsored with local astronomy associations, our free Community Open Nights welcome all ages to come out and gaze at the night sky.
No prior registration is required. We ask participants to be careful with food, drink or chewing gum near the scientific equipment. We also expect parents to be responsible for their children.|

3/29 - The New Hope Celebrates (NHC) Pride Pageant, 6:30pm., Don't miss this unforgettable evening of glamor, glitter, and drag royalty. This event celebrates diversity, talent, and the power of the LGBTQ+ community. Drag queens and drag kings will compete for the coveted title of Miss & Mr. New Hope Celebrates. This year's pageant, "Love Comes In All Colors," will take place at the Bucks County Playhouse. All proceeds from the event will support NHC's 2025 Pride celebration in May and the Bucks County Playhouse.

3/30 - Camouflaged Egg Hike, Churchville Nature Center, 10-3pm., Join us for our Camouflaged Egg Hike on Sunday, March 30th where children ages 4 – 9 will learn about camouflage and wildlife through demonstrations and live animals, then use their observation skills outdoors to spot and tally dozens of camouflaged eggs strategically hidden high and low along the garden trails. Kids who count the most hidden eggs that they see will win a prize! Admission is $6/child, and pre-registration is required! Register for either the Morning Hike (10 am - 12 pm) or Afternoon Hike (1 pm - 3 pm). Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
