ARB
American Repertory Ballet

American Repertory Ballet presents the dynamic and breathtaking world premiere of Ethan Stiefel’s SPIRIT OF THE HIGHLANDS from March 7 - 9 at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. Based on the romantic classic La Sylphide, SPIRIT OF THE HIGHLANDS re-imagines the tale of a young Scotsman who becomes entranced by a magical forest spirit known as The Sylph, and through his pursuits, eventually loses everything he holds dear. Stiefel traces his mother's family roots back to the Scottish Highland Clan Munro, taking his heritage and infusing it into this lively and bewitching ballet.
