October 7, 2024 – November 2, 2024 - Celebrate two decades of the High Heel Drag Race with NHC’s OUT in New Hope Art Auction. Bid on exceptional artwork that celebrates LGBTQ+ culture and history, with proceeds supporting local LGBTQ+ initiatives. Art at Kings Oaks Presents Artwork from Ten Countries
Art at Kings Oaks, an artist-led group exhibition, returns to an historic farm near Newtown, Pennsylvania this October 4 - 20, with a preview on September 30. The exhibition will feature work by 27 artists from across the U.S., Argentina, Australia, Denmark, Italy, Japan, Russia, Scotland, Thailand, and Ukraine. Paintings, drawings, prints, collages, ceramics, sculptures, textiles, and installation art will be on display in two historic farm buildings. Fall Lantern Tour at Washington Crossing Historic Park! Learn about the famous Crossing at the time of day it occurred as you explore the park, lit by lanterns. Join the park naturalist for a slowly guided walk as we look and listen for migratory avian friends. Topics such as basic bird identification through sound and sight will be discussed. Binoculars can be available upon request, but participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own. Washington Crossing Historic Park sits in a unique bird habitat crossroads. The Delaware River in Bucks County was one of the birthplaces of covered bridge building in America. But the last wooden structure spanning the river was demolished in 1945.
