6/4 - Northampton Parks & Rec Annual Fishing Derby
No experience needed! Each child will receive an official fishing derby kit and cup of bait. Children age 15 and under do not need a license. All anglers 16 years of age and older are required to have a valid fishing license. Bring a bucket to carry the fish to the weigh station where they will be measured and recorded for prizes. All are welcome to join us at the Newtown Presbyterian Church on Sunday, June 5th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM for an Olde Fashioned Strawberry Social. Strawberries with whipped cream on pound cake or angel food cake will be served. Hot dogs and birch beer will also be available. This event celebrates the opening of the Historic Church and the reunification of our church community. We suggest a donation of $5.00 per person. 6/5 - Historical Festival, The Bridge Academy
Learn about local history and participate in family activities and games at The Bridge to the American Revolution Historical Festival on Sunday, June 5th 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. The festival is hosted by The Bridge Academy and will be held on the school property at 1900 Lawrenceville Road. This is a free event and open to the public. Learn about an important historical battle that took place on The Bridge Academy's school property that was instrumental to the outcome of the Revolutionary Way. Visitors will be able to participate in family activities and games, observe war reenactors, and meet Colonel Edward Hand (as portrayed by local historian William Agress). Have you ever wanted to learn how to maneuver a kayak? Well here is your chance. We'll bring the hot dogs. You bring the sides and desserts. 6/18 - Delaware River Kayak Excursion
Team up with the Park Naturalist for a fun float in a kayak down the Delaware River on Saturday, June 18 from noon to 3 PM! After an on-land strategy and safety session, participants will launch from the northernmost point of Washington Crossing Historic Park and kayak 5 miles to the Visitor Center with assistance from the Park Naturalist.
Kayaks, PFDs, and paddles will be supplied. Registration is required. Participants must be 12 years or older. Individuals who have their own kayaking equipment and a PA Launch Permit are welcome to register and join!

As part of its annual Independence Day celebration, Washington Crossing Historic Park invites classic car owners to compete in the fourth annual Rebels & Redcoats Classic Car Show on Sunday, July 3, 2022 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
