Lower Makefield Farmers Market Now Open for Season
The Market is now open and runs on Thursday afternoons from 3:30-6:30 through October 6, 2016. This week boasts market is all about strawberries with organic Strawberry Rhubarb streusel muffins from Apple Ridge Farm and local Shady Brook Farm strawberries at the Promised Land table. 6/2 - Festival of Colors at Pennsbury High School
The event is brought by the Peers of Pennsbury Mentoring Program. Our Festival of Colors is like Holi, a celebration of color and sharing love.
There will be a Color Throw beginning at 3:30, along with food, live music by local band Weatherhead, and a dance performance by the Pennsbury HS Dance Team. Tickets are $5.00. Exhibition and sale of art created during the first four days of this new art festival takes place at Bucks County Community College’s Linksz Pavilion. There will also be a Quick Draw competition in Tyler Hall’s cobblestone courtyard, in which 50 artists will have one hour to produce a painting at 11 a.m. The 50 new creations will then be available for purchase at the festival in the Linksz Pavilion.
