Volunteer Open House, Washington Crossing Historic Park
Saturday March 28, 2026
Are you interested in joining a vibrant community and contributing to the mission of the park? If so, you are invited to attend our upcoming Volunteer Open House on Saturday, March 28, at the park's Visitor Center from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. FWCP has an active and engaged volunteer corps that assists with numerous functions throughout the park. Volunteers help with special events like the Crossing Reenactment, ongoing activities like garden maintenance and animal care, daily duties like visitor services, and occasional projects like painting and tree planting, plus more. In 2025, volunteers contributed over 9,700 hours! The program will begin at 10:00 AM with a general orientation and Q&A in the auditorium. At 11:00 AM, visitors will be invited into the Riverview Room to explore tables with more information about specific ways to get involved. Talk to current volunteers about their experience and speak directly with staff members to gain insight into all the opportunities in our organization. You can also learn about corporate matching gifts and day-of-service activities for your company. To RSVP, please use the link below.
