What's Blooming? An Informative Stroll through the Botanical Garden, Churchville Nature Center
Please join us for What's Blooming? An Informative Stroll through the Botanical Garden on Wednesday, August 20th from 10 am - 11:30 am. Attendees will stroll through Churchville Nature Center's Botanical Garden with volunteer Botanical Gardener and Watershed Steward Gloria Tafel to examine the native plants that grow in the garden and learn about the ecology of the garden beds, how the plants benefit local wildlife, the pests and other challenges they face, and how homeowners can incorporate native plants into their own gardens/yards. The group will first meet at the Visitor Center, then take a short walk to the garden. They will return to the Visitor Center after the program for coffee/tea/water and a "meet & greet." Admission for this program is FREE. Registration is required, as space is limited. This program is catered towards seniors, at least 62 years of age. Each program is held outdoors, so please dress for the weather. The program will still be held if it is drizzling, but will be canceled if it is raining or storming. Please reach out to Tanya (v-tmoznowich@buckscounty.org) with any questions.
