Open House at Liberty Lake Day Camp

Liberty Lake Day Camp is a transformative outdoor experience that builds character and community. Campers leave their screens at home to expand their horizons while forging strong friendships on sixty magnificent shady acres. Campers customize their days with the "Freedom of Choice" elective program, choosing Athletics, Fine/Performing Arts, STEM, Boating, Fishing and Adventure. The Congregations of Shaare Shamayim are hosting a Tu B'Shevat Lunch and Seder on Saturday, January 31, 2026, following services. Join us as we celebrate the holiday and the fruits of the Earth. Wassail Celebration & Artisan Market

Come partake in the ancient tradition of “Wassail”: coming to an apple orchard in winter to help usher in good luck for a bountiful harvest in the upcoming year! We’ll be making noisemakers to play near the trees (or bring your own!), hanging cider-soaked bread in the trees for the robins (a traditional Wassail practice), and partaking in hot cider. We’ll also be hosting some local artisans, who will be selling their wares in the Cidery (list of artisans coming soon). Fire pits will be going outside and we’ll have some themed Cidery offerings for the occasion.
