Join the wildly popular designer, educator, and podcaster Debbie Millman to celebrate the release of her "Love Letter to a Garden," a lyrical and inspiring illustrated story of her quest to create and sustain a backyard garden. Although she always longed for a garden, for most of her life Debbie Millman was a houseplant-killer. This poetic and profound book, illustrated with luminous watercolor drawings, describes how she came to fall in love with gardening and to create the lush garden she now shares with her wife, the essayist, author, and NY Times opinion writer Roxane Gay. Sprinkled throughout the book are Roxane's recipes inspired by the bounty of their garden. Free and all are welcome. Readers who pre-purchase a copy of the book will receive preferred seating and a signed original print from Debbie Millman.
