Snipes Farmers Market

Come to the Big Red Barn on Snipes Farm to buy our organic produce, plants, and other products every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Visit our animals: chickens, ducks, goats, bunnies and more! Our vegetables are certified organic, which means we use no GMO, synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. We also carry local honey made by the bees here at Snipes Farm bee hives. We have pure maple syrup from Journey's End farm, fruit butters, and whatever seasonal herbs are being harvested. We also have CBD products made from hemp organically grown on Snipes Farm and herbal products from Heart of the Moon Herbs grown by our very own herbalist. Snipes Farm is located at 890 W. Bridge Street in Morrisville PA.

Weekly Living History Program, Washington Crossing Park

Join us for a series of Free Weekly Living History programs that we will be conducting in the park on Fridays in April – June at the Lower Park, and then Fridays and Saturdays in July – September at the Thompson Neely Farmstead. These programs will cover a variety of topics surrounding the life of Soldiers and civilians during the American Revolution. Reenactors and demonstrators will discuss the topic/activity they are portraying while also providing context for how this would affect life during the American Revolution. July – September demonstrations will take place at 12:00pm, 1:00pm and 2:00pm. Weekly Living History Programs are sponsored by the Albert W. Bader Foundation, Americana Corner and generous contributions from Christopher and Mary Jane Beck and the Starke Family.

Textile Conservation Conversation with Kate Wight Tyler

The Grundy Museum is thrilled to welcome Kate Wight Tyler, a distinguished Object Conservator based in New York, for an intimate discussion on the art and science of conservation. The event will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 12:30 PM in the Snyder Room at the Grundy Library, Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Due to the limited seating, advance registration is highly recommended to secure your spot. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to view a selection of impeccably preserved clothing and textiles from the Grundy Family Collection, including Margaret Grundy's elegant shift dress and Joseph Grundy's iconic top hat. Kate Wight Tyler, whose expertise has been instrumental in preserving these artifacts, will share her insights into the meticulous process involved in their conservation. As a bonus, participants are invited to submit images of their own delicate or treasured items for Kate's professional review. Instructions for submitting images will be provided upon registration.
