This September 6th & 7th, the Doylestown Arts Festival returns for its 34th anniversary! Featuring a diverse selection of over 160 independent artists, live music on 5 stages, demonstrations, and activities for all ages, this is not a weekend to miss. The festival will run from 10am-5pm Saturday through Sunday and is free to the public. The festival is held rain or shine. 1:30 and 7:30pm The inspiration for the blockbuster film, “You’ve Got Mail!” Amalia and Georg, two clerks in a 1930s perfumery, are constantly at odds. They both find joy, however, in the romantic letters exchanged with anonymous pen pals they discovered through a “lonely hearts ad.” Little do they know, they are actually writing to each other! Based on the classic film “The Shop Around the Corner,” She Loves Me is a delightful musical that celebrates one of the most enchanting love stories ever told.

Her concerts are marked by the big diversity of her repertoire, which includes pieces from the Renaissance up until pieces of contemporary music. Julia Trintschuk also premiered many works and regularly collaborates with contemporary composers.

Country Night Line Dancing, Charlann Farms

Get your hat on and boots ready for a night of boot scootin' line dancing, down on the farm. Line Dance lessons being lead and taught by the very talented Shotgun Jenny! Live country music provided by the Country Mile Band. Come join them for a boot-stomping good time at Charlann Frams. Dust off your cowboy boots, throw on your hat and get ready to dance the night away. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a beginner, you will surely have a good time. Grab your friends for a honky-tonk good time on their farm! Broad Street Brewing & Ashlynn Distillery on site. Smoked BBQ by John Finby Ages 18+ Tickets $25 online, $35 at the door. 9th Annual Newtown Black & White Dinner

Tickets are now on sale for the 9th annual Newtown Black & White Dinner. This year’s event is being held on Saturday, September 6. All proceeds from this event benefit the historic Newtown Theatre. During the event, up to 1,000 black-and-white clad diners will gather on Newtown Borough’s closed-down North State Street for a one-of-a-kind alfresco picnic held in the middle of the street. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. when diners arrive to find tables draped in white linens stretching hundreds of feet down the street. Guests can mingle, decorate their tables, and enjoy live music prior to dinner, which begins at 6:30 p.m.

Flemington Car Show

The Flemington Car Shows run on Saturdays (check schedule for dates and locations) all Summer long offering the community a source of fun free family entertainment. Each show, hundreds of some of the best classic cars on the East Coast come out to Flemington. The shows are free to the public, and car owners. Live Performances are given by local talented musicians at each show in two areas, complimented by DJ Chuck Leonard spinning classic tunes. Trophies earned by the best cars & door prizes raffled to everyone. Several kids activities like face painting, magic, and balloon sculptures are offered.

A Night of Dueling Pianos, Newtown Theatre

A Night of Dueling Pianos returns on Saturday, September 6, after the Newtown Black & White Dinner fundraiser at the theatre. Dueling Pianos tickets must be purchased separately from Black & White Dinner tickets, and the show is limited to 260 guests. This show features local husband and wife pianists Steve and Jennifer Luhmann. Their high-energy show will include sing-along classics that will have the you clapping, singing, and partying along.
