1:30 and 7:30 The inspiration for the blockbuster film, “You’ve Got Mail!” Amalia and Georg, two clerks in a 1930s perfumery, are constantly at odds. They both find joy, however, in the romantic letters exchanged with anonymous pen pals they discovered through a “lonely hearts ad.” Little do they know, they are actually writing to each other! Based on the classic film “The Shop Around the Corner,” She Loves Me is a delightful musical that celebrates one of the most enchanting love stories ever told.

A Tribute to Philly's Musical Legends, Newtown Theatre

This special matinee concert will feature Tommy Cono and his band playing songs by Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, Chubby Checker, Len Barry, Eddie Holman, The Stylistics, Bunny Sigler and more. Cono was the protégé of famed singer/entertainer Bobby Rydell.

New Hope Summer Series - Block Party, Fireworks, Drone Show, and Giant EAGLES Pep Rally

The "spectacular fireworks and synchronized drone show" is set to begin around 9:10 p.m., but the celebration starts early with a block party beginning at 5 p.m. on Stockton Avenue between Bridge and Ferry streets. Expect a mix of returning favorites and new vendors, plus local artists, live entertainment, and all the small-town magic New Hope has to offer. New Hope closes out its blockbuster First Friday Summer Series with a Birds-themed fireworks + drone show, block party, and pep rally. Birds Pep Rally & Block Party (5–9pm) with Philly food + drink specials, live music, DJs, vendors, surprises * Grand Finale Fireworks & Drone Show (9:10pm) in Eagles green, filling the skies above the Delaware River * Family-friendly + no charge – with pay-as-you-go food, drink & shopping * First 500 visitors receive a glowing green surprise to wave during the show
