Princeton – Princeton Day School is proud to announce that Madison McCaw '19 has signed a national letter of intent to play Division 1 women's soccer at Columbia University. McCaw, a soccer midfielder for PDS her freshman and sophomore years, also played soccer for Players Development Academy for the past three years.
McCaw's PDS career statistics included being named to the All Prep First team as a sophomore and contributing to two Prep B State championships. PDS coach Pat Trombetta praised McCaw, saying, "Maddy is an explosive player who added a lot to our team. She has a bright personality that will benefit her team at Columbia as will her tremendous talent. We wish her all the best."
PDS Director of Upper School Athletics Tim Williams stated, "Maddy is a very gifted player who has demonstrated a strong commitment to her game. She has excellent field vision, and with her determination, I see her being successful at the next level."
