Beginning in April, visitors can once again explore the historic Thompson-Neely Grist Mill and Thompson-Neely House, both rich in Revolutionary War history.
Step inside the restored 1830s Thompson-Neely Grist Mill to see how grain was ground into flour using traditional 18th-century milling techniques. Discover the vital role mills played in early American life and the Revolutionary War. Tours are available at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM, the address is 1635 River Road, New Hope, PA 18938.
Walk through the Thompson-Neely House, which served as a regimental army hospital during Washington's winter campaign of 1776-77. Learn about the family who lived there, the soldiers who camped on the property, and the officers who sought shelter within its walls.
