Mark your calendars for a weekend of family fun and Revolutionary history at Washington Crossing Historic Park’s 2025 Independence Day Celebration, happening July 4–6. Kick off the festivities with Living History Day on Friday, July 4, from 12–4 PM. Visitors will experience July 4, 1776, brought to life through military encampments, craft demonstrations, and readings of the Declaration of Independence at four intervals throughout the afternoon. Tickets include access to Bowman’s Hill Tower and are available now—advance registration is recommended.
On Saturday, July 5, bring your family or friends for Colonial Field Day, a fun filled throwback to 18th-century games. Compete in period games like cup and ball, hoop and stick, Jacob's Ladder, and others during one of two sessions at 10 AM or 1 PM. The winning group will earn a free family membership to the park. Space is very limited, so be sure to register in advance for this popular event.
Close out the weekend on Sunday, July 6, with our fourth annual Rebels and Redcoats Classic Car Show from 10 AM to 2 PM. This unique show features vehicles from the Revolutionary War’s four major nations—America, France, Britain, and Germany—alongside an open class for all makes and models. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or simply enjoy a good walk through automotive history, the event is free to attend for spectators. Proceeds from car registrations support educational programming. Special thanks to Contemporary Corvette, our Presenting Partner, and other sponsors, Penn Community Bank, Ragtops and Roadsters, Voltage Bikes and Weber Insurance Corporation.
