Saturday July 25, 2026
When playwright Rick Goodwin began imagining his latest play, “Nauset Light,” he was standing inside the lobby at the Harbor Stage Theatre in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, looking across Cape Cod Bay. At that moment, he knew whatever he wrote was going to take place in a beach house with a large window overlooking the ocean on Cape Cod. The result is “Nauset Light,” an intimate and emotionally powerful drama that explores family, regret, forgiveness and the choices that shape our lives. The New Hope launch of this two-character play is coming to Phillips’ Mill this July for three performances only.

Home, I’m Darling, Langhorne Players
Saturday July 25, 2026
In today’s modern world, Judy and Johnny feel out of place. They’ve chosen to give up the trappings of the Internet age and live life like it’s 1950 all over again, but “Nostalgia ain’t what it used to be...” How can they cope when the fantasy of domestic bliss clashes with cold hard reality? Issues of marriage partnership, identity, and traditional gender roles swirl in this halcyon dream of yesteryear where rules and routines become a love language all their own. “An original, sometimes unsettling look at the masks people put on in order to conceal their pain.” The Evening Standard. WhatsOnStage raves“...sharp, funny, and strikingly perceptive play.”
