Habitat Raises $135,000 to Support Homeownership, Home Repair for Bucks Families

Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County's recent fundraising gala raised $135,000 to support Habitat's affordable homeownership and home repair programs that benefit local families. Jeff Devlin, host of DIY Network's Stone House Revival was the emcee for the evening, which included a silent auction, live auction, and an appeal for donations.
The 285 guests at the gala gave a standing ovation to a Habitat homeowner and her son who shared their inspiring story of how affordable homeownership helped them achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better future. The event also honored two of Habitat's dedicated community partners with Spirit of Habitat Awards: Bill Tuszynski of Quakertown and students from the Holy Family University Habitat Campus Chapter.
