Monthly Living History Programs: Soldier Saturdays, Washington Crossing Park

Join us each month as historical interpreters and reenactors bring a piece of history to life at Washington Crossing Historic Park. Each month’s program will run from 11-3, and will cover various aspects on military life during the American Revolution. The programs will take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month April – September. There is no admission or registration, all you have to do is show up and be ready to learn something new! Kids Makerspace @Morgan Log House

Join Morgan Log House this year for a new Makerspace experience! Their Kids’ Makerspace is a hands-on zone and free family event where children can enjoy an engaging storytime and then complete a make-and-take project. From building simple machines to trying out recycled art projects, it’s the perfect place for young minds to tinker, invent, and play. This month, children will make leprechaun traps using normal household items as part of a special St. Patrick’s Day edition. As part of the Kiwanis Club’s Read Across Pennsylvania program, Morgan Log House asks all families to bring a children’s books to donate.
