Saturday February 28, 2026
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Join us for a fun and educational winter tradition celebrating trees, local history, and one of nature’s sweetest gifts—maple syrup! On Saturday, February 28, 2026, we invite visitors of all ages to spend the day in the Park’s “sugar bush,” learning how maple syrup has been made in Bucks County for generations. This family-friendly, outdoor program takes place at the General Greene Pavilion and offers a unique way to experience the park during the winter season.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy hands-on demonstrations of traditional maple sugaring, from identifying maple trees and collecting sap to boiling and finishing syrup. Park educators will guide visitors through each step of the process, sharing the science and history behind maple syrup production. Visitors can also take part in daily sap collection and enjoy hot, fresh pancakes topped with the park’s own maple syrup, served from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while supplies last.
