The early elementary years are a critical time in a child's education—a time when curiosity blooms, confidence begins to build, and the right support can make all the difference. That's why we're excited to welcome families to our upcoming Open House for students entering grades 1–3. At this stage, children are laying the groundwork for lifelong learning. When students are supported early, they are more likely to develop strong academic habits, positive self-esteem, and a lasting love for school. Our program is designed to recognize the potential in every child and provide a small group environment where young learners can thrive socially and academically.

During our Open House, families will: Meet our passionate teachers. Explore our welcoming classrooms. Learn how our personalized approach supports early learners. Discover how we build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving. Whether your child is just beginning their school journey or you're seeking a school community that prioritizes meaningful support and connection, we invite you to see how we help young students grow with confidence and joy. The earlier the support, the stronger the start. We can't wait to show you what's possible. Register today! We look forward to seeing you on May 30th. Enjoy a relaxing summer evening along the banks of the Delaware River! Our "Picnic in the Park" series, a monthly summer program for all ages, returns this year on Friday evening May 30th from 6:30-8:30pm. We are so happy to have Parlour Noir one of Philadelphi's premier Swing Bands, return for our opening evening. Lawn games, cooling river breezes, and great music will transport you back to a bygone era. You are welcome to bring your own picnic dinner or snacks, blankets and lawn chairs (but please, no alcohol). All the rage in the Victorian era, summer guests played croquet and badminton while visiting with friends. Games will be set on the River Park and instructions on how to play the games.

Located on the River Park Lawn of the Grundy Museum on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. This is a FREE family program.
