An Evening with Margaret Montet, Newtown Bookshop
Thursday April 24, 2025
Please join the Newtown Bookshop on Thursday, April 24th at 6:30pm to celebrate "Brooklyn Family Album" by Margaret Montet! Margaret will speak about her book and sign copies. All are invited to join us in person at the Newtown Bookshop! In her first essay collection, Nerd Traveler, Margaret Montet traveled the world exploring some of her favorite literary and historic sites. Wonderfully balancing her own personal narrative with a wealth of information on some of the most captivating places in the world. In her new book, Brooklyn Family Album, Margaret turns her inquisitive nature and knack for research to her own personal history. Traveling to modern day Brooklyn, Margaret walks in the footsteps (and roller coaster tracks) of her family to learn more about their connection to the earliest days of New York City and to her.
