Experience History Firsthand: Free Monthly Programs @ Washington Crossing Historic Park

This year, immerse yourself in the past with Washington Crossing Historic Park's Monthly Living History Programs, running from April through September 2025. Whether you're fascinated by the lives of Revolutionary War soldiers or curious about daily chores on an 18th-century farm, these free, interactive programs offer something for everyone!
Held at the Lower Park (1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, PA 18977) near the Boat Barn, Soldier Saturdays will take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These educational programs focus on various aspects of military life during the American Revolution, such as artillery and camp life.


Head to the Upper Park (1638 River Road, New Hope, PA 18938) next to Thompson-Neely House for Farmstead Fridays on the 4th Friday of each month from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM to experience life on the home front. These programs will feature demonstrations of daily farm tasks during the Revolutionary era. Each month, get hands-on experience completing historical tasks part of civilian life.
These exciting free programs are funded by Albert W. Bader Foundation, Americana Corner, Christopher & Mary Jane Beck, and the Starke Family. Explore history in a new, engaging way!
