"Roots So Deep" Screening & Discussion, Newtown Theatre
Wednesday January 21, 2026
Presented By: Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve “Roots So Deep” is a four-part documentary series about inventive farmers and maverick scientists building a path to solving climate change with hooves, heart and soil. Parts one and four will be screened at this event. In the documentary, the question is asked, “Can an underutilized way to graze cattle, that mimics the way bison once roamed the land, help get farmers out of debt, restore our depleted soils, rebuild wildlife habitat and draw down huge amounts of carbon?” Following the film, a panel of experts from Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, Princeton Hydro and Native Plants Healthy Planet Podcast will discuss the film and take questions.
