* Summer starts early in New Hope on May 16th to coincide with New Hope Celebrates Pride celebration - and continues through the fall *

New Hope, PA – The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce and Visit New Hope announce the return of New Hope Summer Series, Fireworks and Drone Show.  Last year, tens of thousands of people flocked to the banks of the Delaware River to take in the fantastical light show high above. This year New Hope's signature summer program expands with a dazzling surprise - a brand new season-long drone show! Starting May 16, and running June 6, July 11, August 1 and September 5, visitors are invited to experience the award-winning small town charms of New Hope and Bucks County. Each date will include a fireworks and drone show, plus the family-friendly block party with music and local vendors.  Festivities will include local artists and crafters, live art with New Hope Arts, captivating live music, food from Italian Cucina, and other festivities. The outdoor block party will shut down and take place on Stockton Avenue (between Bridge and Ferry streets) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Stockton Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic between Bridge and Ferry Streets starting at 2:00 PM and open only to pedestrians. For the fireworks and drone show, the May 16th show will begin at approximately 9:10 PM. Start times for future shows will be announced closer to each event, but typically between 9:00 PM and 9:15PM.  All festivities are no charge and open to the public, with families welcome! "This year's New Hope Summer Series, Fireworks and Drone Show is all about creating an immersive and memorable experience for locals and visitors alike," said President of the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce Michael Sklar. "We're proud to celebrate summer in such a special way. Last year, the response to the fireworks was truly amazing and the drone show let us elevate our game. This year, our volunteers worked for months to raise money to add the season-long drone show and we are very excited about it. We have been getting calls for months asking if the program will continue. It is a win-win for our small businesses and merchants - and a win-win for tourism for Visit New Hope and Bucks County."

"New Hope is one of Pennsylvania's top destinations to visit in the summer months," he added. "Our charming Bucks County town is the quintessential place for a great American getaway. This program lets us light up the night skies and offer a monthly celebration that brings together over 10,000 people for a night of food, drink, art, music and fireworks. There's truly something magical about this new tradition."

He concluded, "We started this pilot program in 2023 and it grew dramatically in 2024. We are proud to keep adding and expanding it each and every year. The show and block party gives a boost to local businesses. It adds to the over-all summer experience and drives visitors to our restaurants, shops and hotels. Additionally, it lets us offer opportunities for talented artists and vendors to showcase and sell their work - and hopefully encourage them long-term to look to open a brick and mortar in New Hope."
