Help Pennsbury Manor’s Animals
HELP US HELP OUR ANIMAL FRIENDS
In William Penn’s time, the animals at Pennsbury Manor would have been part of a working farm that sustained the people living there. Today, our sheep, geese, oxen, and horses serve to educate the public about the crucial role of their predecessors.
Pennsbury Manor is one of a handful of museums that maintains a living collection of retired animals. Under the direction of our animal care specialist Carole, our animals receive an excellent quality of life that they otherwise would not have had.
Unfortunately, some of our animals have been dealing with health issues that have placed a financial strain on us. With your generous donation, we will be able to continue to provide a great life for our animals. Donate here.

To salute our nation’s veterans, the historic Newtown Theatre will present Stars & Stripes: A Vintage USO Show on Sunday, November 12 at 3 PM. A percentage of ticket sales from this event will be donated to the Travis Manion Foundation.
This 1940s-style show will loosely mimic a WWII-era USO revue with live swing music, newsreels, comedy, cabaret and more. It will capture the spirit of late-war GI encampments in the European and Pacific theaters, toeing the line between reenactment, education, and entertainment. Come enjoy an afternoon of nostalgia, old-style glamor, snazzy hosts, quippy comedians – all with a patriotic flair.
