Snipes Farm 2023 CSA is Open for Registration
For 24 weeks you can come to Snipes Farm and pick up 8-12 types of vegetables from our farmers. Our produce is fresh from the field. It is only through a CSA that you can know exactly where, how, and by whom your vegetables are grown. Your Farm Share will include a wide variety of organic veggies and fruits in season.
When you buy a Traditional Farm Share you will arrive each week at the farm and pick up your share of produce that the farmers have selected for you, based on harvest and availability. Each week's share will contain 8 to 12 veggie varieties.

Bristol Marsh Clean up Day for MLK Day of Service
Help Heritage Conservancy clean up trash at Bristol Marsh Nature Preserve for the MLK Day of Service. The more trash we collect, the less will get washed into our waterways!

Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5K & Festival Returns in March
Join us on March 11th for the seventh annual Newtown Shamrock Shuffle. This Shamrock Shuffle offers more than your typical 5K. Once you finish running through historic Newtown, we invite you to keep the party going! In lieu of the Irish Festival this year we are beginning a Shuffle through Newtown where participating bars, restaurants, and shops will be offering specials and giveaways.

Sculptures Coming To Lower Makefield Parks And Patterson Farm
We are excited to announce that AOY is working in collaboration with Lower Makefield Parks and Recreation Department and the Seward Johnson Atelier (Grounds for Sculpture) for the premiere 2023 season of Art in the Parks! Thanks to a $7500 grant from Visit Bucks County (VBC), contributions from Lower Makefield Township and AOY Art Center, plans are underway to place eight to 10 Seward Johnson sculptures in Lower Makefield. www.lmt.org/art-in-the-parks

Newtown Parks and Recreation Offers Pickleball
Pickleball Clinic - Learn the fundamentals of pickleball including game rules, scoring and basic strategies to give you the tools you need to enjoy the game, with both practice and play each week. Intended for all skill levels. Paddles and balls will be supplied. Basic knowledge of pickleball is recommended!
Intermediate Clinic/Open Play - If you are a seasoned pickleball player or a clinic graduate and you're looking for the next level of challenge, this class is for you! Little Sprouts is Proud to Present our Winter Session Schedule
Little Sprouts is proud to present our winter session schedule. Following along with the Norwegian and Scandinavian philosophy of Friluftsliv, we will continue on our journey in environmental education, to facilitate a true connectedness to the more-than-human world through the winter months. Remember there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. Our class time will consist of outdoor activities as well as indoor activities in The Cider Barn. This gives our Little Sprouts friends opportunities to explore outside but also have a space to warm up if needed. Class will be held from 10:30am-12:00 pm.

1/7 - “Traversing the 10 Crucial Days” Bus Tour
You’ll spend the day retracing the December 25 crossing of the Delaware and the American and British military engagements that followed at Trenton, Princeton and areas in-between from December 26, 1776 through January 3, 1777. Historical interpreters Roger Williams and Larry Kidder will tell the remarkable story of the 10 days that breathed crucial new life into the American Revolution. The events are discussed in the context of the local, strategically important central New Jersey towns, villages, and farms. Cost is $150 per person and includes bus fare and lunch.
