Bucks County Book Festival Returns to Doylestown in September
The Fourth Annual Bucks County Book Festival returns to Doylestown, PA,
in-person and virtually, from Friday, September 24, 2021, through Sunday, September 26, 2021, with a new cultural partner, the Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle.
This three-day celebration connects authors and book lovers and features professionally
published authors, including New York Times bestseller Christina Baker Kline and Jason
Reynolds. This year’s festival offers a new event, "Book Fest on the Green" on the grounds of the Mercer Museum, as well as Book Fest favorite "Writers Workshop".
"We're back and bringing some amazing storytellers to Bucks County. The ability to gather together again is incredible, and I hope everyone will come out to meet these authors and support Book Fest," states Elle Green, Founder of Bucks County Book Fest.

Grundy Museum: Additional Tour Days and Special Thematic Tours
Bristol Borough's Grundy Museum staff are happy to announce the addition of free House Tours on Thursdays and a new second time slot on Saturdays. One-hour House Tours are now available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 1:30pm and Saturdays at 1:15pm and 2:30pm. There is an exception for the first Saturday of the month, when there is one free House Tour, which begins at 1:30pm. Saturday will be all domestic, with additional separate classes for Camaro, Replicars, and Rods. Sunday will be all foreign and we've separated some classes: Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and McLaren can now register in their respective marque classes. Sunday will also have a Foreign-Other through 1995 that will include marques not included in our various foreign classes (Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Isuzu, Acura, Opel, Maybach, Audi, Saab, Volvo and more).

8/21 - Intro To Kayaking Class
This two-hour class, led by Kayaking Instructor, Cameron Calista, introduces you to the parts of a kayak, how to hold and move a kayak paddle, how to enter and exit a kayak, ways to keep your balance while kayaking and, of course, how to get around on the water in a kayak. The Introduction to Kayaking Class takes place right on the waters of Silver Lake (at Silver Lake Park). Since space is very limited for these programs (they typically sell out), pre-registration (at least) 3 days prior to the program is required in order to participate. On the Road to Victory at Yorktown– The Encampment in Trenton, August 1781
Relive the experiences of American and French soldiers as they joined forces for the decisive battle of the Revolutionary War! The Trent House Association hosts an all-day event on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 10 am to 5 pm, celebrating the 240th anniversary of the Washington-Rochambeau march to victory in Yorktown. This is a free outdoor event with activities suitable for adults and children.
