2021 Summer Programs at PDS is happening June 14-August 9, with co-ed full-day and half-day programs for campers Pre-K-Gr 12! This year PDS Varsity Coaches will lead camps in Squash, Basketball and Baseball! Enjoy favorite programs such as Crazy for Clay, Tennis, Chess, several other sports options, water play and so much more. Among new offerings: Piñatas & Parties, Bridges & Towers and Puppetry & Storytelling. Campers have adventures on a 7-generation, nonprofit, historic and beautiful working farm through Snipes Farm Summer Camp Programs! Little Sprouts for children ages 3-5, Snipes Farm Day Camp for children ages 6-11, the Camp Leadership Program (CLP) for youth ages 12-14, and the Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program for youth ages 15-17. Campers care for animals and a garden. Activities include: exploring nature in the woods and creek and hands-on science and art projects and games. The Camp Leadership Program (CLP) includes team building, special animal care, camp service projects and culinary arts. The CIT Program asks for a 2-week commitment and provides training and leadership development to gain confidence and job readiness skills. For more than two decades, School of Rock has been inspiring kids to rock on stage and in life. We believe the best way to learn music is to play music. We take students from the lesson room to the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for ALL skill levels. School of Rock teaches guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, drums and combines weekly private music lessons and group band rehearsals to prepare students to take the stage in front of live audiences in an authentic concert setting. Our one-week themed summer camp sessions are Monday-Friday from 9:30am to 3pm with a LIVE performance at the School on the Friday of each session.
