“Capture the Park” in Washington Crossing Historic Park’s Fall Photo Contest
The Friends of Washington Crossing Park (PA) invite members of the community to enter the third annual “Capture the Park” photo contest during October. Photos may depict any of the buildings, events or scenery at the park, including the Thompson-Neely House, Bowman’s Hill Tower, the Taylorsville village, and the Visitor Center. Photos must be taken between Oct. 1 and 31, 2017. Only one photo is allowed per entrant. Complete contest rules.


Fall Weekends at Snipes Farm
There is so much to do at Snipes Farm every Saturday and Sunday in October! Newtown Business Association Sponsors Future Entrepreneur Scholarships
The Newtown Business Association will award two (2) $500 awards to high school or vocational school seniors who are residents of Newtown (Borough or Township; may include residents attending schools outside Newtown). Students must have applied to/ been accepted by an institution of higher learning to pursue studies in business or entrepreneurship. Neshaminy Creek Brewery will be hosting a fundraiser for Yardley based Second Helping Food Pantry on October 19th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Free admission and beer specials! Sleepy Hollow Haunted Attraction Schedule
Sleepy Hollow will be open for fourteen nights this Halloween season. Our hours of operation are from 7 PM until 10 PM. On Sunday or Thursday the last hayride will go out at 9 PM. Guests who purchase tickets by 10:00 on Friday or Saturday or by 9:00 on Sunday or Thursday will be able to experience all three attractions. Jack-O-Lanterns will be set out along the 1/4 mile of the Delaware Canal immediately following the Carve-O-Thon for the first night’s lighting.
