11/24 - New Hope/Lambertville Two Town Turkey Trot
The streets of Lambertville, New Jersey and New Hope, Pennsylvania will fill with runners working up an appetite for their turkey dinners this Thanksgiving morning as the Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce holds the inaugural 5-kilometer “Two Town Turkey Trot” road race and a 1-mile health walk on Thursday, November 24. The race will start promptly at 8 a.m. and will be run rain, shine, or snow. Alisa Dupuy of The Ladies of History Historical Productions, will be performing a one-woman show of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. She will portray Ebenezer Scrooge’s sister, Fan. The show is about 50 minutes long and features Ms. Dupuy acting out all of the characters and bringing this timeless story to life for us in the delightful ambiance of our beloved Half Moon Inn.
