11/8: 9th Annual Lower Makefield Township Veterans Parade and Ceremony, 1pm., The parade steps off on the corner of Edgewood and Whitehall Roads, and culminates with a ceremony at Veterans Square Park, Edgewood and Heacock. This year's parade and ceremony honors Vietnam veterans who didn't receive the welcome home they deserved when returning to US soil. Also featured in the ceremony are Pennsbury High School's internationally recognized Marching Band and Choral Departments.

11/15: Telluride Mountainfilm Festival, Newtown Theatre, 2pm., This one-day special event will feature short documentary-style films that will educate, inspire and motivate the audience about the environment, cultures, issues and adventures. The films range in length from two to 22 minutes and feature topics such as promoting adventure, exploring cultures and preserving environments.
