United Way of Bucks County is excited to announce that our annual Operation Helping Hand Food Drive, which collects tens of thousands of pounds each year, has a new supporter this year: Inspire Federal Credit Union. Inspire is providing monetary support, volunteers, and logistical help with the drive so we can continue to grow the project and help more of Bucks County’s hungry population. Operation Helping Hand is a one-day food drive that occurs annually in March. Food is collected through public schools, private schools, childcare centers, senior centers, and government offices in Bucks County. Each collection site is matched with a local pantry, making this a hyper-local opportunity to help others. Programs touch more than one in five lives in Bucks County each year. For more information, call 215.949.1660 or visit www.uwbucks.org.
