2016 Bucks County Designer House Open May 1 through 29
A walk along the gravel path under shade trees and into the house at Foxwood Manor in Jamison will show the transformation a team of more than 30 designers, landscapers and artists has achieved. The skills and talents of this team has brought to life the beauty of this stone-and-stucco home graced with six unique fireplaces and stone walls. Visitors will also be able to browse and shop through two carriage houses containing the many boutiques featuring home furnishings, clothing, accessories and handmade crafts and enjoy a light lunch and refreshments at the Hungry Fox café. Each visitor will receive a bound, color guide containing maps of the houses and gardens as well as information about each design company.

Washington Crossing Farmers' Market Returning May 14, 2016
Area residents looking for fresh produce can come to Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA) on Saturdays for a weekly farmers’ market, beginning Saturday, May 14. The market will be open from 9am - 1pm and feature produce from several local farms and vendors with all-natural products. Farm stands will be set up near the corner of River Road and Rt. 532 or in the Visitor Center parking lot in case of rain.

New Hope Lambertville Fireworks to Return for First Fridays in Summer, 2016
The skies over Lambertville and New Hope will again explode with color this summer as the Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau secured approvals for the return of the popular fireworks program. Fireworks will be presented the following Fridays throughout the summer: June 3, July 1, August 5, and September 2. All shows are slated to begin at 9:30 p.m. and last 10 minutes.

Dairy lovers are invited to learn how colonists made cheese and butter at Washington Crossing Historic Park’s free Dairy Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The culinary art of dairy making was developed centuries ago, before the advent of commercial butter and cheese production, using basic equipment and techniques. The public is invited to Washington Crossing Historic Park’s annual Memorial Day observation at 1pm at the gravesite of Continental soldiers. The observation includes a colonial color guard, the Old Barracks Fife & Drum Corps, Revolutionary War reenactors, the Guardians of the National Cemetery Firing Party, Daughters of the American Revolution, veterans, Boy Scouts, and other honored guests. The gravesite is located near the Thompson-Neely House, about two miles south of New Hope at the intersection of Route 32 and Aquetong Rd. (1638 River Road, New Hope).
