Flower Pressing Workshop, Friends of Washington Crossing Park
Thursday June 26, 2025
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the timeless art of flower pressing and create beautiful keepsakes from nature! Led by park horticulturist Anna Davis, you’ll explore various pressing techniques and assemble your own flower press to take home—so you can continue the craft long after the workshop ends. Discover creative ways to use your pressed flowers, and create one stunning piece of botanical framed art and one bookmark using pre-pressed flowers and vintage paper. In the final hour, we’ll venture into our enchanting 18th-century kitchen garden, where you’ll handpick 2–3 blooms to press. All proceeds from Garden Days support the Historical Garden Program through the nonprofit Friends of Washington Crossing.
