Canal Walk, Friends of the Delaware Canal

We have updated our Annual Canal Walk to make it more enjoyable for today’s towpath travelers. This year, we will divide the walk into sections based on the four seasons. Enjoy the diverse flora and fauna that change with the calendar throughout the year. On our upcoming series of walks, we will travel from north to south from Easton to Erwinna.

Homestead General Store and Coffee Roastery to Tinicum Park, Erwinna – One-way walk with carpooling – 4.7 miles – 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. We will begin our walk at the Homestead General Store, which is the oldest operating general store on the canal and with a new expanded coffee roasting operation, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Attic Treasures Sale, Washington Crossing Park

Mark your calendar! The first-ever Attic Treasures Sale will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM in the heart of our Historic Village in the lower park. This exciting new event will be held in the newly renovated Taylorsville Store just before the bridge on Route 532. The store once housed the Patriot Gift Shoppe, which can now be found in the Visitor Center. Be sure to check out both during your visit!

Held in tandem with McConkey’s Market—our beloved open-air tradition that draws thousands of shoppers each year—this new sale offers the perfect opportunity to uncover unique items, timeless décor, and gently loved treasures donated by members of the local community. Expect a thoughtfully curated mix of antiques, artwork, china, home furnishings, small furniture, collectibles, and more. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Washington Crossing Park.

McConkey’s Market, Washington Crossing Historic Park

WASHINGTON CROSSING, Pa. – McConkey’s Market returns for its 10th spring season on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA).

Held only twice a year, the market features nearly 100 vendors selling an eclectic mix of artisan crafts, up-cycled items, vintage goods, handmade jewelry, original art and photography, pottery, reclaimed furniture, and collectibles. The market also includes live music and several food vendors.

McConkey’s Market takes its name from the park’s historic McConkey Ferry Inn. The building represents a typical country inn or tavern of the Revolutionary era. Tradition has it that George Washington ate at the inn prior to his crossing of the Delaware River.

Hidden Gardens of Lambertville Tour

Lambertville Goes Wild (LGW) is sponsoring a native plant sale Saturday, June 14, from 10 am to 4 pm at Mary Sheridan Park, 37 York Street in Lambertville (rain or shine). Toadshade Wildflower Farm and East Coast Natives will be offering plants for sale, with pre-ordering available through their websites. The Native Plant Society of New Jersey will have representatives and information available. LGW team members will be happy to answer your questions about gardening for wildlife, and to help identify mystery plants from your property.

The Grundy Foundation is excited to announce that the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Museum Annual Tea returns this spring, on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Highlighting the magnificent architecture and grounds of the museum, the annual fundraiser supports museum educational programs through the Grundy Foundation CanDoMore Campaign. Guests will immerse themselves in the splendor of the Grundy mansion with seating on the Veranda, where they can enjoy the spectacular river views and a special menu. Seating is also available under the beautiful tent on the South Lawn. The menu will include delectable goodies from West Catering & Events, Donna's Delicious Delights, and Bricky Girl Tea!

New this year, the experience will begin with a special iced tea tasting bar on the Museum Terrace, where guests can enjoy Margaret's Garden. Interfaith Food Alliance, Pennsbury Kids, and Snipes Farm and Education Center are co-hosting a fundraiser supporting hunger relief efforts in Lower Bucks County. Bring your own dinner, beverages, plates, napkins, and utensils to dine under the stars! The outdoor evening will feature live music from the Do-Gooders in the big red barn, setting the perfect mood for some dancing. ?For your convenience, you can pre-order a delicious dinner prepared by Christou Catering when you purchase your tickets.
