Pedals for Progress, Newtown Rotary

Pedals for Progress in the parking lot across from the Olde St. Andrews church from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

We're collecting adult and kids bikes and portable sewing machines to send to developing countries. We ask for a $20 accompanying donation for each item to help offset the cost of shipping. All monetary donations are tax deductible, and a receipt will be provided.


Villa Joseph Marie High School Placement & Scholarship Exam

All students who apply to Villa Joseph Marie High School are required to submit results of the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Villa offers the test each fall on our campus, as well as opportunities for sixth and seventh graders to take a practice test on campus.

Snipes Farmers Market

Come to the Big Red Barn on Snipes Farm to buy our organic produce, plants, and other products every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Visit our animals: chickens, ducks, goats, bunnies and more! Our vegetables are certified organic, which means we use no GMO, synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. We also carry local honey made by the bees here at Snipes Farm bee hives. We have pure maple syrup from Journey's End farm, fruit butters, and whatever seasonal herbs are being harvested.  

We also have CBD products made from hemp organically grown on Snipes Farm and herbal products from Heart of the Moon Herbs grown by our very own herbalist.

Snipes Farm is located at 890  W. Bridge Street in Morrisville PA.

Medication Take Back Day

Medication Take Back Day is Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10 am - 2 pm! This year’s Take Back event will feature 46 public collection sites throughout the county. Simply walk or drive up and drop in any unused, unneeded or expired medications for safe disposal. In addition to prescription medications, law enforcement officers will be collecting over-the-counter and pet medications, vitamins, vaping products and more. Plus, select sites throughout the county will be collecting medications and sharps and distributing Narcan on October 26!

Lenape Cultural Program at Pennsbury Manor

Meet the First People of Pennsylvania this Native American Heritage Month! Lenape community members from the Delaware Tribe of Indians in Bartlesville, Oklahoma will be presenting authentic Lenape history, stories, language and social dances as an interactive experience at Pennsbury Manor. This program is a free add-on when you take a tour of our Manor, grounds, and historic buildings. Tours are offered at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30.
