Snipes Farmers Market

Come to the Big Red Barn on Snipes Farm to buy our organic produce, plants, and other products every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Visit our animals: chickens, ducks, goats, bunnies and more! Our vegetables are certified organic, which means we use no GMO, synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. We also carry local honey made by the bees here at Snipes Farm bee hives. We have pure maple syrup from Journey's End farm, fruit butters, and whatever seasonal herbs are being harvested. We also have CBD products made from hemp organically grown on Snipes Farm and herbal products from Heart of the Moon Herbs grown by our very own herbalist. Snipes Farm is located at 890 W. Bridge Street in Morrisville PA.

Free Family Fishing Day, Silver Lake Nature Center

Activities will include learning about fish identification, fishing equipment, and fishing techniques. If you have a fishing pole, please feel free to bring it. There will also be a limited supply on-hand to use. **Please note that participants over 16 years old need to have a valid fishing license in order to fish during the event.** ***When registering, please include the number of children/adults in the comments. Thank you!!*** Event will take place at Silver Lake, located at Silver Lake PARK. This is a FREE event, but registration is required as space is limited. Cultural Streaming Series - Dave Brubeck Quartet Live in Brussels, Zlock Performing Arts Center

Take in recorded performances of leading classical and jazz artists, ensembles, and orchestras from around the world in the comfort of the Zlock Performing Arts Center. Free and Open to Public The Dave Brubeck Quartet were the epitome of cool jazz, of sophisticated music that was accessible. For them, the conception of success within jazz was different: they toured the world, sold lots of records and generally enjoyed rockstar status in that once niche genre. It was in 1959 that they first got together – the same year Brubeck released his most enduring piece, “Take Five.” Here, they play it for a delighted crowd, along with other standards like “In Your Own Sweet Way.” Desmond takes center stage (he is the song’s original composer) and delivers a feather-light style, weaving the melody like a silk thread around the bouncing of Brubeck’s chords. Joe Morello is a magician on the kit, afforded a long and famous solo, while Eugene Wright works a pensive, strolling bassline into the mix. It is hard-won mastery disguised as something light and easy. The result is simply wonderful. 35 min. Streaming previously recorded concert.
