Shibori Class

Learn the ancient art of Shibori dyeing from local artist, Sue Fox Mitrano. Shibori involves folding, binding, twisting or stitching natural fabric and then submerging the article in a vat of indigo dye several times. Variations are a natural result, so each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. Four Shibori pattern techniques will be taught. You will then choose which technique you wish to use as you create your own two scarves, set of zippered throw pillows or a large cotton tote bag. Perfect for gifting friends and family!
