Vivid Veggies Container Garden Class

Create a beautiful container garden with edible plants with guidance from our Master Gardener, Kelly Thompson. Learn to choose the perfect plants and combos to create a long-lasting container with stunning plants and herbs that you can eat. We will also discuss organic care and feeding of edible containers. Each workshop participant/family will create an edible garden to take home and enjoy. Fee of $110.00 includes lecture and all plants, 22×13.5″ container and materials needed to create your garden. Class runs from 1 – 3pm at Seasons Garden Center in Washington Crossing, PA.

Downtown Yardley Walking Tour

Imagine Yardley's past! Join Charlie Thomforde for a one-hour tour of the heart of Yardley. While strolling on Afton Avenue, Canal Street and Main Street, you will encounter the town’s evolution from a single grist mill on Brock Creek to a thriving, diverse community. The Yardleyville Bridge, the Delaware Canal, the railroad, trollies, two competing fire companies, and life in small town America will all be part of the story.
