Monthly Poetry Group, Newtown Bookshop
Join us for an evening of poetry and discussion from 6pm-7pm.
The first half of the monthly meeting is devoted to a reading by a featured poet from the group or by a published poet. The second half hour allows open mike time for group members to share a few poems they've written, or they may choose to read poems written by their favorite poets.

Set aside your to-do list and join us for “wine o’clock” at McAvoy’s. Get dressed up (or come in yoga pants!) and make time for yourself and your girlfriends to reconnect and unwined. Plenty of seating for cozy conversations and good old-fashioned girl talk. Drink specials and light bites available for purchase from the bar. 6pm-9pm.
