AOY Art Center is delighted to present the second annual group show of the ANEW Artists’ Alliance to be held March 10-12 and 17-19. The Gallery is open to the public from 12-5 PM and all art will be for sale. Members of the ANEW Artist Alliance and AOY gallery volunteers and will be your hosts. The Fiddler's Dance

Bucks County's own period instrument ensemble presents a program of folk tunes and dance music from the Baroque Era to Colonial America. The concert traces the development of courtly and folk music of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, from the court of James I of England (James VI of Scotland), to the ducal court of Mantua, to the violinists of Louis XIV’s Versailles, and of Restoration England. Our final destination is Colonial and Federal America, where we will even visit with the African-American fiddlers who descended from Thomas Jefferson, Sally Hemings, and the circle of Monticello, an amazing journey indeed! The musicians performing on period instruments are Nadir Aslam, baroque violin, Nathan Bishop, baroque violin and nyckelharpa, Donna Fournier, viola da gamba, Paul Holmes Morton, lute, theorbo, baroque guitar, and banjo, Benjamin T. Berman, harpsichord and tenor and Lewis R. Baratz, recorder, tin whistle, bodhràn, mountain dulcimer, and harpsichord. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $10 for students, free for ages 12 and below. Tickets available at the door with cash or check, or in advance online at lafiocco.org. Masks are recommended.
